Business Park Majoppeveld is located in the municipality of Roosendaal. Roosendaal is located in the south-west of the Netherlands in the province Noord-Brabant and has a strategic position in the middle of the “Rotterdam-Breda-Antwerp Triangle”. The city has major transport links between the Randstad conurbation and across the national border. Roosendaal lies within a dense network of motorways; motorway A58 (Eindhoven-Tilburg-Breda-Bergen op zoom) runs directly through Roosendaal. Motorway A17 also connects to motorway A58 from Roosendaal-West to motorway A16 (Rotterdam-Breda-Antwerp) near Moerdijk. Other tenants at the business park are Penske Logistics, VOS Logistics and Jan de Rijk Logistics, who run large scale logistic operations in the area.

Roosendaal is strategically located  between the world ports of Moerdijk (18km), Rotterdam (50km) and Antwerp (50km) are a short distance away. central location in the heart of the Benelux, between the Randstad conurbation, and the Vlaamse Ruit makes West Brabant a very attractive location for logistics activity.

Majoppenveld is located a short distance from the residential area of ​​Roosendaal and is easily accessible by private and public transport. With more than 75,000 inhabitants, a more than sufficient labor pool is available.

LABOUR

The West-Brabant labour market has a deep specialisation in the logistics industry, which has been well established for many years. The region has a working population of just over 350,000, of which at least 12% are employed in the supply chain and logistics industry. The universities at Tilburg and Breda both offer a range degree course in supply chain and logistics management, as well as associated engineering disciplines. 

This has made West Brabant very successful in attracting new talent to the region. The local authorities within the region also cooperate with each other, to ensure that good quality housing is available to people relocating into the region for work.
